Article: MEXICO CITY, LIKE WOW

MEXICO CITY, LIKE WOW

MEXICO CITY, LIKE WOW

In November, we traveled to Mexico City––a city bustling with life, culture, art, cuisine, and style––to capture the vibrant colors of our SS22 styles.  We wanted a destination that brought this season's line to life, and our friends Salvador Hernandez and Francisco Rondon helped us make it happen.

"During the pandemic, both my Instagram feed and personal inspo board were full of images, people, parks, restaurants, shops, and designers from Mexico City. I started dreaming of a shoot there, and after reaching into my network of friends, I met Salvatore Hernandez (@vengacheivs). We met via Zoom and discussed my vision. Colors. Textures. Vibes. Must-see sites and outdoor venues of Mexico City. I wanted to fall in love visually and bring that to our clients. His partner Francisco Rondon (@franciscojrondon) operates as a stylist, and together they delivered an end result that marries the quirkiness of IB with the beauty of Jamaica Market. I flew to Mexico with a bag of shoes, and we worked together to create the shoot before you. Enjoy!"
