DESIGNED AND CREATED BY PRIMARY VISUAL
When we found our new location at 504 Warren Street, we knew we wanted to do something high impact, bright, spacious and highly visual. The large vintage storefront cascades the store with gorgeous light, sending in long bold shafts of light from noon on. The Main Street in the small Hudson Valley town has maintained its status as the crown jewel of upstate, but with covid the growth and changes can be seen year and all week around---shedding its previous identity as a weekend only destination. We opened our initial location in Hudson just as Covid appeared in US, and relocated to our current space in May of 2022.
The store has high ceilings and lots of space which created a blank canvas for the design team from PRIMARY VISUAL to work with. Warren Street is known for being an iconic retail experience, and we wanted to put a very fresh, fun and on brand take on the streets already established vibe. We turned a dark, dated and French themed bakery into a shopping destination our clients could love.
I gave the guys from PRIMARY VISUAL a very loose inspirational vibe of what I wanted for the space, a concept that would bring some West Coast vibes to the Hudson Valley, and let the shoes be the stars of the show--giving big attention to displaying our product making shopping easy, impactful and also interactive with the space.
This is my third project in collaboration with Kristoff and Conor from PRIMARY VISUAL and I gave them a lot of creative freedom on the space----imploring them to feel inspired by my outline and the experience I want the customer to have.

The end result is 100% on brand and the perfect addition to the street. From the bold use of our logo and branding on the store front, to the live cactus window display the store takes each client on the perfect retail journey that is unpretentious, visual and stunning.
