WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION OR CONCEPT FOR THIS SHOOT?
I was really inspired by the nostalgia the shapes and colors the shoes were giving for this release. With that, I was reminded of this great location I’d been wanting to shoot at and knew Ty would love it!
In order to keep it current and not look like a period piece, it felt best to do something a little eccentric with the styling. We decided to do glam. I love concepts that have juxtaposing elements. It is always more dynamic.
DESCRIBE YOUR FALL FASHION AESTHETIC. ANY TRENDS YOU LOVE OR KEY PIECES YOU'RE ON THE HUNT FOR?
As always, I’m just excited to wear more clothes. The summer is hot - and that will last in southern California at least until Halloween. So once there is an opportunity to layer again, that will be great!
WHAT ARE YOUR THREE FAVORITE IB SHOES THIS SEASON?
1. Vico Heeled Boot - square toe! Need I say more?
2. Tides Clog - I love a slip on/mule situation.
3. Celeste Leather Platform - not a shoe I could pull off by any means but it is so fun and again, just the right amount of nostalgia.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE FALL SEASON?
Hard to say, I don’t really experience fall in San Diego. Not in the leaves changing kind of way at least. So maybe thanksgiving? I’m a sucker for green bean casserole but I only eat it once a year.
