FREDO FLARED HEEL MARY JANE

I originally ordered this in the Honey color. Utterly fabulous. I'm all about the patent leather. And Mary Janes. I had previously returned a lug sole MJ shoe in 2 different colors of box leather that were a little too big in a 39 and I was not super duper thrilled with the colors. I feel like Cinderella now that I have my signature shoe Fredo!!

I wear a size 8 US. I got a size 39 (as most of my EU shoes are that size) but it was definitely too big even with socks. I exchanged it for a 38 that fit!! Thin socks can fit but it is more snug than barefoot. I'm hoping it stretches.

I had to get the dark red Merlot as the Honey was out of stock in pretty much all sizes. The merlot is a beautiful color. I still love the Honey more and will likely want a pair in Honey. The chunky heel is my preference. If it had been 1.5-2 inches even better than 2.5 inches I would have been over the moon. Because of the heel height it feels more like a dress up shoe than a run around town shoe.

I'm very happy with this purchase and hope the Fredo becomes an icon.
